While the Hacker Playbook is an excellent resource, I do remember it having quite a bit of prerequisite knowledge on operating a linux machine, and understand ‘hacker’ constructs such as C2 servers, methodologies, and techniques. I would definitely recommend this to someone once they’ve experimented a bit, and learnt their way around what pentesting/red teaming is.
